A Walk in the Warm Rain

A walk in the warm rain
from puddle to puddle.
Raindrops a falling down
to the muddle.
A walk in the warm rain
with drip drops on my nose.
ItÂ’s like running through the summer
sprinkler hose.
The smell of warm rain
is like bacon cooking and wet sneakers in the morning.
The taste of warm rain
is like hot chocolate cooled off.
So I take a walk in the warm rain
before the sun comes out again.
For one more feel,
one more taste,
one more smell
in the warm,
warm
rain.
