Winter Meeting
By Gary Wittmann
(Prepositional Poetry)

During the winter
On the floor we watch the sunset sky
Among the trees
By the light
Of the party
With a quick farewell, we drifted good-bye.
Across the square, our eyes met drifted back
To the trees
To the sunset sky
On the floor
During the winter
Of our youth.
