The teacher gave us an assignment
to write whatever we wanted.
Holding my pen in my hand
no words would come out of it.
So I started writing eeeeeeeee‚’s and
then they turn to llllllllll.
She saw my paper with e‚’s and l’s.
“What are you writing?‚” she asked.
I look down and saw it ‚“eel‚”, I said.
A story about a long eel.
I realize that something was in my pen
it just needed the time
to get one letter at a time.
