I Wonder Why My Teacher Is So Thoroughly Mad

I wonder why my teacher is so thoroughly mad
It doesnÂ’t make since at all.
At school I gave her my best apple with worms
The apples from my lockers in the hall.

I tried to show her what was in my sack
I told her it was my favorite Pet.
She squirms with a frown
while the bag with my snake sits on her lap suddenly got wet.

I guess,
when millions of frogs from Science escape
and were hopping down the hall.
I wonder why my teacher is so thoroughly mad
It doesnÂ’t make since at all.

In the principal office by the clock,
time is ticking by for school to be out.
The apple, snake, and frogs are on the principal desk.
The teacher is in a shout.

I wonder why my Teacher is So Thoroughly Mad
It doesnÂ’t make since at all.
IÂ’ll just have to stand longer and longer and longer and longer
in the school hall.

Rinnnnnnnnnnnnnnng.   Riiiiiinnnnnggggg.
Riiiiiinnnnnnggggg.

I wonder why my teacher is so thoroughly glad.
I doesnÂ’t make since at all.
I know it, the school bell rings.
No more apples, snakes, or frogs or me standing in the hall.
