Nature Song

The river in the pines drifts slowly by
as the mountain peaks touches the sky.

The morning sun is dabbling with the dew
on the clover and fields of flowers.

The day grow hot with the brightness of the sun
drifting across the blue sky.

The timberline shadows creep across the river
as each splash from the fish darkens.

The river cuts two pave as it leisure goes down the river
and the over way in Zach’s  cove.

Every night when the sun goes in new life drifts in the darkness
and the day life sleeps peacefully.
