Tree Outside the Window

There is a beautiful tree outside
from the location of my chair
where I sat each day as I work on my homework.
It is very eye-catching
Especially when the wind
is blowing through each leaves
as they spin around and around
hanging on trying not to let go and not to fall off
but to stay on to their position.
It is even more beautiful in the fall of the year
To know when the leaves are of different colors
altering their existence
just like people change their life styles.
The attractive tree outside the room
it is so nice to lie under it on a blistering hot day
and just look up between the tree branches
like fingers reaches outward to the indigo atmosphere
and the leaves moving flickering the sunlight
like twinkling stars in the night heavens
and just think about how good it feels
to be laying in the shade
on such a hot day
like today.
